Brendan Strohmeier-Parmer's war with the English Language...

....a war he's losing. Badly. Sorry to get off on something tangentially related to our semi-lovely Heidi/Gwen, but Brendan is such an archetype of the idiocy generally found around Wackepedia that he can't be ignored. Among my favorite Brendan stupidities of late:

* his insistence (even after someone politely corrected him--someone of course now permanently banned) on using "summery" instead of "summary." Of course he is in Orange County, so maybe that famous Southern California weather has simply made everything "summery."

* his perhaps more common mistake of consistently saying "could care less," when of course he means "couldn't care less."

* his best recent coinage--"criterias," which he edit warred about until someone finally explained in simple, monosyllabic English the difference between criterion and criteria. One can only imagine what Brendan is going to do with phenomenon and phenomena.

For those wanting to get up close and personal with Brendan (and you know who you are), here's a lovely little window into his extremely sad and lonely world:

wherein he takes on one of his gaming nemeses. (Ooooh--nemesis and nemeses, Brendan will have a field day "summerizing" those!)

We probably should cut poor little Brendan some slack--notice in his rants and "summeries" how he consistently refers to "us" (meaning Wackepedia). This is obviously a boy desperately in need of community. Thankfully, he's found his kindred spirits at long last.
